He also had an outstanding amateur career representing QLD before attending college in the US at Iowa State University. After the Covid Pandemic interrupted his college journey, he began his PGA Professional training and developed a deep passion for growing the game of golf through member service and coaching. His impressive junior career in Victoria saw him playing alongside his best mate, Marc Leishman. Building on this foundation, Leigh began his traineeship in 2009 at Wynnum Golf Club, where he earned his full vocational PGA membership in Australia. With 14 years of experience in retail and golf operations at Golf World and Twin Waters Golf Club, Leigh brings a wealth of knowledge to the game. Grant learnt from Australian Golf legend Norman Von Nida, where he adopted his current coaching style and beliefs.
