A shortish par 5 setting out from alongside the clubhouse where strategy comes in to play.
Drive straight, but make sure to avoid the burn that snakes across the fairway and which is around 230 metres from the tee at its nearest point. The green is reachable in two for the longer hitters, but for mere mortals the smart play is to lay up short of the fairway bunker to leave a wedge shot of 70 metres to the green. Easiest hole on the card and a birdie chance.
